PRESS COVERAGE:

PARIS — The Defense Innovation Agency (AID) has chosen two groups of companies in response to the LARINAE project invitation.

Initiated by AID and the General Directorate of Armaments (DGA), this call for projects seeks to identify domestic solutions for mid-range remote-controlled munitions. These are munitions designed to target armored units within 50 km and sustain operations for over an hour.

Two projects stood out among the 16 submissions: one led by MBDA and the other by a collaboration between NEXTER Arrowtech, EOS Technology, and TRAAK.

By the close of 2024, initial demonstrations will provide AID and the DGA insights into the suitability of these industrial suggestions against the operational requirements outlined by the French military forces.
