France launches the “Larinae” tank hunting UAV project

PRESS RELEASE :

The Agency for Innovation in the French Ministry of Defense (AID) has given approval to UAV project called Larinae. The project proposal was presented to Nexter Arrowtech, EOS Technologie, and TRAAK on June 16, 2023. The project was initiated with the objective of developing an Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) for remote intelligence gathering. Larinae boasts a maximum flight range of 50 kilometers and can remain airborne for up to an hour. This UAV can operate at high altitudes while conducting surveillance and pursuing potential adversaries.
